SENSORY AWARENESS

This course has been specially designed to promote calm, concentration and emotional well-being in children. Inherence with a mindfulness mindset, they will grow up to face life's challenges with greater ease and resilience.

 

Throughout the course, children explore various aspects of mindfulness, from physical posture to the practice of attention and awareness, to the power of compassionate speech.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Module 1: Introduction to Mindfulness

​

  • Understand what meditation is and the benefits it brings to everyday life.

  • Learn how to create a safe, tranquil environment in which to practice meditation.

 

Module 2: Physical Posture

​

  • Become aware of your body and find a comfortable sitting position.

  • Realize the importance of conscious breathing and its role in relaxation.

 

Module 3: Practicing Attention and Awareness

​

  • Improve our ability to concentrate and pay attention.

  • Cultivate our attentive vision and learn to observe the world around us with curiosity and full presence.

Module 4: Training the Mind

​

  • Understand how the practice of mindfulness can help us manage our emotions.

  • Learn how to cultivate empathy and compassion for ourselves and others.

​

Module 5: Mindfulness on Objects

​

  • Meditate by focusing our mind on objects.

  • Recognize our thoughts without judging them and master our concentration.

​

Module 6: Mindful Communication

​

  • Recognizing the power of words and their impact on ourselves and others.

  • Adopt compassionate speech and promote the use of kind, empathetic and caring language in our interactions with others.

By adopting mindfulness and compassionate communication, children begin a lifelong journey towards emotional well-being and mental clarity. 

 

The skills they acquire in this course can be applied to various aspects of their daily lives. They will help them become resilient, empathetic and compassionate people.
